Get to the root of the problem when removing small trees or shrubs. Serrated teeth make quick work of stumps, roots, and entire trees, while shaking out excess dirt for refilling holes.
- Jaws open to 11.5” to quickly pull out trees and fence posts.
- Hard stop at tip keeps small space between teeth when fully closed. This allows even small trees to be pulled without shearing them off.
- Single hydraulic cylinder is protected from debris and other objects.
- Corrosion, dent and flake resistant NitroSteel® cylinder rod made in the USA.
- Teflon coated bushings on all pivots.

Common questions:
The jaws open 11 ½”, but the maximum size of tree that can be removed will vary greatly depending on the size of the skid steer, type of tree, and ground conditions.
Place the jaws as close to the ground as possible with the right, fixed jaw up against the post. Slowly close the left jaw onto the fence post and lift straight up. If the post does not loosen then gently move the skid steer loader back and forth to loosen the post and try lifting straight up again.
1/2” Grade 80 laser cut steel. Others often use use A36 steel. Grade 80 steel has a yield strength 2.2 times that of A36 steel. Additionally, every other tooth is gusseted to provide rigidity. These attributes allow the Virnig Tree Puller jaw to outperform inferior steel designs, even if they are thicker.
Yes, there is a hard stop at the tip of the jaw of the tree puller, leaving a small space between the teeth.
